West Bay 1990 Mike Nevitt Acrylic on Canvas
|
A Gallery is just what this page is about. There are many talented artists who paint for pure pleasure and if they sell one use the money to buy another canvas, some more art materials. My late husband was one of those and he'd be thrilled to see even one of his paintings in Cyberspace. So that's what I've done, just for him. Below you'll find links to online art galleries. Galleries belonging to people who display their art in this magical way. I'll put a link and a brief description of who they are and how they came to be here. If you have a piece of art, be it a painting, sculpture or in any form, then please mail me from my Guestbook and we'll talk.

Paul Wilson's online Gallery features his own paintings of climbing, urban scenes and figures. Paul gives us personal comments concerning the history of his pictures and the medium he uses. The talented husband of one of my Open University colleagues. |

This online website belongs to a lady I've met in the femail.co.uk community. She lives in Alicante, Spain and her art gallery consists of a series of paintings depicting the beautiful area that's her home. A collection of oils, watercolours, contemporary and antique art. To discover more about her online Gallery and exactly how beautiful the village of Castell de Castells really is, then do visit the village website. Lovely photographs, and my idea of pure heaven would be to get on a plane and go to Castell d Castells and view the Gallery to buy a picture, but this will do for now. You know where to click by now: |

Watercolours by Chris: You know how to get there my friends! |
Well, I am overwhelmed here. Chris is another Open University student, and her talents know no bounds. She's linked on my OU page, but I felt that her paintings should be in my Gallery. For those who feel they'd like to paint one day, then this will inspire you to visit your art suppliers shop and get started. |

Collectables by Vicki Go visit: |
Are collections of things art? In this case 'Yes!' Vicki has published her collections on her personal website and it is an adventure. Written with great humour, she talks us through a collection of beautiful purses, vintage cook books and even retro sunglasses. Excellent photographs, and have to mention that Vicki is another of my artistic OU friends and it's been a pleasure to share the learning journey with her. |
