I’m a Daughter, a Sister, a Mother, a Lover and a Grandmother, and my life is rich because of the qualities and the gifts of love I have from all those that matter to me.

My first Grandson Michael. The emotions I felt are beyond description. He was the son I never had. Imagine the feelings you had with your first-born child? Multiply that emotion. It is wondrous and intense.

You may gather by now, I’m a soppy old tart.

I know it’s blurry and fuzzy! But then so were we! It’s me, Lamorna, with Morty my bloke. He’s been my lover and partner for nine years. He’s good to be with. Makes me laugh Girls!

I’ll tell you more about him on his own page “Morty and his Shack!”

I’ve been married twice, and I don’t think I’ll do it again.

I like the edge of danger of a live-in relationship.

When we were kids, we thought Mum and Dad were Hollywood film stars. Susan Hayward and Robert Taylor. I used to tell gigantic fairy tales to my little school friends, and they’d listen enthralled while I told them Howard Keel had come to tea! Always have had a vivid imagination.

They will always be beautiful and handsome. They are also well into the electronic age and well used to computing, e-mailing, editing the local magazine and designing Cards.

I should age so gracefully!

Morty having a blow! He's jazz enthusiast and a poser too, but that shiny saxophone is a pretty good modesty provider.

My other best friend, my daughter Jo. My otherest best friend is my Mum.

Here's my two boys, Jack and Michael.

They were blokes from the second they were born. Sexist? Probably, but I'm allowed aren't I?

Oohh! Look! Morty at work. This is what a Science Degree and nineteen years of teaching in an Inner London Comprehensive School does to you.

Hi there Norman, my son-in-law, and didn't the boy do well. Thanks Norm for your bit in making 'my boys'
